Our facilities

The practice has been recently refurbished throughout, creating a fresh and welcoming feel to the whole building. We have retained many of the features of the magnificent period property such as the stained glass windows.

Reception: We have a bright air-conditioned reception on you arrival.

Consulting rooms: Three air-conditioned consulting rooms give us the space and privacy to see you pets for examinations and vaccinations. One of the rooms is dedicated to the nurses for clinics.

In-patient facilities: We have separate wards for cats and dogs. They have warm, spacious kennels to help your pet feel as comfortable as possible during their stay with us.

Practice laboratory: As in human medicine, we often need help with our diagnosis with laboratory tests. We have an extensive range of equipment that can provide us with blood test results within 10 minutes, from less than half a teaspoon of blood! We also examine skin and urine samples under the microscope.

Operating theatre: This is where we perform our sterile surgical procedures. We keep this area separate to minimise infections just as in human hospitals. Treatment of wounds and dental procedures are performed in the 'prep' room.

XR facilities: X-rays are important in diagnosis and not just for broken bones! We have recently invested in a state-of-the-art digital X-ray machine that produces superb images in seconds. We can X-ray teeth with specially designed small films. We also have an ultrasound scanner and an endoscope (camera for looking into the stomach) that allows us to investigate a vast range of conditions.
